About Tulastay

Who runs Tulastay

Tulastay is an independent project run by Surya Narayan Mishra, based in India. The name comes from the Hindi word tulna, meaning “compare”.

Our mission

Hotel prices are often shown without taxes and fees, and cancellation rules are easy to miss. We want every price on Tulastay to be the total you would actually pay for the whole stay in Indian rupees, including GST and mandatory fees, with cancellation deadlines shown in Indian Standard Time.

How prices are sourced

We plan to show prices only through official partner and affiliate programmes offered by booking sites. We do not scrape other websites.

Those partnerships are still being set up, so everything you see on Tulastay today is clearly labelled sample data. The hotels, prices and photos are illustrative and are not real offers.

What makes Tulastay different

• All-in totals. We compare the full price of the stay, not a teaser nightly rate.
• Cancellation side by side. See when free cancellation ends before you click through.
• No dark patterns. No fake urgency, countdown timers or ads in results.
• You book with the provider. Tulastay is not a travel agent; bookings happen on the partner's own site.
